Chief Secretary Reviews IT-Enabled Implementation of BRAP and DBRAP Reforms

Paperman Media ( Bhubaneswar )- Odisha Chief Secretary Smt. Anu Garg, IAS, chaired a high-level meeting to review the implementation of reforms under the Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP) 2026 and District Business Reforms Action Plan (DBRAP) 2025-26, with emphasis on completing pending IT interventions.

Senior officials from 21 departments, along with IT System Integrators, representatives of Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC) and National Informatics Centre (NIC), attended the meeting. Department-wise gaps relating to portal development, system integration, Entity Locker onboarding and public dashboards were reviewed.

The Chief Secretary stressed that technology-driven reforms should provide simple, transparent and end-to-end digital services, while reducing physical interfaces, repeated document submission and delays. Departments were directed to ensure seamless integration of G2B and G2C services with GO SWIFT and Odisha One for real-time application tracking.

The meeting also reviewed Entity Locker integration to facilitate secure reuse of government-issued documents, along with dashboards displaying applications, approvals, pendency, inspections and processing timelines.

The targeted IT reforms are scheduled for completion by August 31, 2026. ACS, Industries and MD, IPICOL were advised to review progress again on August 25 and resolve pending issues. The government reiterated its commitment to technology-led reforms and simplified business service delivery.
