Paperman Media ( Pattamundai/ Bhubaneswar )- Eightieth Birth Anniversary of popular philanthropist Baraha Charan Samal was celebrated with much pomp and massive fanfare.The ceremony venue at Samal Bhavan , the ancestral home of Shri Samal in Mandapada village of Pattamundai Block under Kendrapada district was elegantly and colourfully decked up befitting to the grand occasion.Thousands of Shri Samal’s family members, relatives, friends, followers and well wishers from his village, nearby localities different parts of the State and Country took part in the celebration and personally wished him happiness, long life and good health.
Participating in the Mega Event distinguished dignitaries profusely praised Shri Samal’s remarkable social services for the well being of marginalised and suffering humanities in his native localities. Popularly known as Kanhu Babu, he has been instrumental in establishing several spiritual associations, educational institutions and charitable organisations in Pattamundai, Ali and Rajnagar Blocks.
