Bhubaneswar - Leader of the Opposition and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President Naveen Patnaik held an extensive interaction with party MLAs, former MLAs, senior leaders, Zilla Parishad members, District Planning Committee members and Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) representatives from Angul district. The delegation was led by Angul MLA and District BJD President Braja Kishore Pradhan.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the developmental priorities of Angul district, ongoing public welfare initiatives and issues affecting local communities. Shri Patnaik reviewed the district's progress and exchanged views with the representatives on strengthening grassroots governance and ensuring effective implementation of development programmes.
The meeting also emphasized organizational matters aimed at reinforcing the party structure at the grassroots level. Shri Patnaik encouraged party functionaries and elected representatives to remain closely connected with the people, address public concerns promptly and work collectively for the overall development and welfare of Angul district.
