Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati on Thursday planted a sapling at Atal Van on the premises of Lok Bhavan to mark the birth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The plantation was undertaken as part of the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative.
Extending his heartfelt greetings to Modi on his birthday, Kambhampati noted that the Prime Minister has completed 25 years of public service, first as Chief Minister of Gujarat and later as Prime Minister of India.
“Today is the birthday of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. He has also completed 25 years of public service, both as Chief Minister of Gujarat and Prime Minister of India. I convey my heartfelt greetings on the occasion of his birthday,” the Governor said.
Referring to the plantation, Kambhampati said it was part of the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” programme, which he described as a favourite programme of the Prime Minister.
The Governor also recalled the developmental works and people-friendly initiatives undertaken during Modi’s public life. He further referred to the steps taken to enhance India’s image among countries across the world.
“I wish him a very healthy and happy life, and I convey my best wishes to him,” Kambhampati said.
