A New Landmark for Odisha Handlooms in the Holy City of Puri!

Paperman Media (Puri)- Boyanika proudly inaugurated its Mega Showroom at Radhaballav Matha, in front of the Shri Jagannath Temple, Puri, creating a vibrant new destination to showcase Odisha's rich handloom heritage to devotees and tourists from across the globe.

The showroom was inaugurated by Shri Pradeep Bal Samanta, Hon'ble Minister of Cooperation, Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts, Odisha, in the gracious presence of Smt. Guha Poonam Tapas Kumar, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts Department, Government of Odisha.

The occasion was also graced by Shri Prakash Chandra Meher, President, Boyanika; Dr. Nivedita Prusty, IAS, Managing Director, Boyanika; the Additional District Magistrate (Revenue), Puri; Shri Indramani Kandi, Deputy Director (Handlooms); Shri Bishnupada Marandi, Deputy Director (Handicrafts); Shri Jayaprakash Narayan Biswal, Assistant Director of Handlooms; and Mahant Shri Ramakrishna Das Maharaj of Radhaballav Matha, Puri, along with other distinguished guests.

Constructed entirely from Boyanika's own resources, this mega showroom reflects the organisation's commitment to empowering Odisha's weavers and promoting the timeless beauty of Odisha handlooms. Located at one of the state's most iconic destinations, it will offer visitors an authentic experience of exquisite Sambalpuri, Bomkai, Khandua, Kotpad, Pasapalli, and many other traditional weaves.
